Briana Whatcott didn’t grow up speaking or writing English, but she knew from an early age that she wanted to write. A second-grade teacher recognized her skills and since then, Briana has spent her time developing her passion for journalism.

Briana recently graduated from Weber State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications with an emphasis on multimedia journalism. She will start her graduate program at American University in the fall where she will study journalism and public affairs.
